Staring with the New Moon on the first day of the New Year, Chinese New Year lasts as long as for 15 days. Ending with children displaying lanterns on the fifteenth day, the fifteenth day is known as "The Lantern Day". Holding family reunions, New Year in China usually means a family affair.
